First...GO GIANTS. A lazy morning in bed skyping with my sister to root on NYG was followed up by a trip to Surkhumvit Rd to check out the happenings in the sex district. All we found were creepy western men, streets lined with toys, (im trying to keep this PG) and lady boys. After feeling akward and creepy ourselves we headed in the opposite direction and found a lovely park and more shopping centers.
We spent another long afternoon of shopping at the MBK center, a step above yesterdays market, where I finally found some worthy things to buy. Included on the list, a purse and earings. Danny was a champ... because it took hours to try and find this purse. HOURS. Another toot to Danny's horn, is this amazing hotel we're staying in for my birthday present. It was a perfect way to start off the trip.
